How does a digital camera work?

To understand how does a digital camera work you may also know that their process to take photos is not in the same way like the old film cameras do.

Digital camera do more as compare or the old cameras. Digital camera plays a wide role in our life of today technology. They are more advance as we can charge it battery cells, we can have also replaceable battery digital cameras. In today technology Digital camera are more useful as we get the result very quickly. It doesn't require the film inside. With the digital camera the ISO sensitivity on every shot, while in case of film cameras this is not possible on every shot buy only when film inside changes.Sometimes in case of Digital camera taking moving pictures is possible, although in film cameras this is not possible. The printing can be possible at home by taking the result of digital camera.The image can also be seen on a large screen TV by using cable connector.For the Digital cameras we do not need to buy the film, although the batteries required but they are economical.Digital camera also saves our time, we can take too many photos in less time and can delete if the picture doesn't look good or we don't like to print or view or save.

Digital camera works different as compare to ordinary film cameras, although they are both look the same but they work differently.In order to take the photo when we push the button aperture in the front of the camera opens and in lens of the camera the light streams.In the camera an electronic equipment called charge coupled device (CCD) which works as a light detector, captures that light beams and convert them into electronic signals.The picture we take hit the CCD and the CCD break the picture(light) into million of pixels.The CCD also measure the color and brightness of an each pixel of the picture and then stores it as a number, which makes a long sting number.A photograph contains a long string number which clarifies every pixel it has.

The camera inside contains the following parts:

• LED: The LED(Light emitting diode) red light use to indicates the self timer when operate.
• LENS: In the camera it is use to catch the light of the thing or an object of which you are talking the picture and then it focuses the light on the CCD
• CCD: Inside the camera they are use to convert the object light into the pixels, inside camera it is a light detecting chip.
• Processor Chip: It is the main controlling chip, which runs the function of the camera.
• Flash Capacitor:Inside camera the capacitor is use to store charge for the use of flash to fire.
• Flash Lamp:It takes the charge from the capacitor to run.Inside camera a xenon flash is used.
